Varicose veins
Description:
Varicose veins are distended veins, commonly appearing on the legs and are caused by vascular incompetence which can lead to a backup of blood. They have a ropey, raised appearance and are bluish in color.
Precautions:
Massage is locally contraindicated for extreme varicose veins. Light massage may be administered on mild varicose veins.
