Hi,

As long as your massage therapist is familiar with pre-natal massage and the proper way to position a pregnant women on the massage table... you are able to receive massage right up until delivery.

I personally have what our industry calls a "Prego Pillow". That allows me to give a face down massage to the pregnant women.

Special pre-natal massage training is a must, so inquire before you book you appointment

good luck!

It is also recommended to NOT get massages during your 1st and 2nd month of pregnancy due to the fact a woman's risk for miscarring is a lot higher in the early stages of pregnancy. During the 3rd month of pregnancy is a good time to start receiving pre-natal massages and IF your doctor says it's "okay"

That is not remotely true. Massage is SAFE in all trimesters, so long as the therapist is well trained.
