Do most spas/massage offices have a shower on the premises?

No. Most Massage Establishments do not have showers for clients.

Some Spas have showers, but it is generally safer to ask if this is a complimentary amenity or only offered with certain services.

Not in my experience they don't. However, if an LMT uses lotion instead of oil, the client has little need to shower before getting back into 'regular clothes.'
The lotion penetrates the skin in a different manner than most oils. Just ask for an alternative to oil; I've practiced with lotions since 1996.
Agree on both!  I have had several locations, none have had showers.  I also use lotion, never had feedback that a client felt "oily" afterwards.  Every lotion is different, so ask for a sample before your massage if you feel that it is an issue.
