One massage is a good start, this of course, depends on what issues, if any, you may present with. I try not to push massage on people unless I know it will do them good. I rarely do more than one massage a week on a client that is in dire need. The body needs to relax and repair itself each time after massage. If there is a major problem, or issue, i.e a torn rotator cuff, I tend to recommend coming once a week to help get range of motion, flexibily and overall movement back into that area. One massage helps, but usually doesn't solve the proble, it only starts to heal.
