Deep tissue or hot stone?

I have chronic pain pretty much everywhere from my neck to my ankles should I get the deep tissue or hot stone? I was considering acupuncture but I think I should try this first

They both have their benefits and, just like any other modally, the quality depends upon the Therapist that you choose.

-Deep tissue relies on slower massage strokes, concentrated and focused on manipulating deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for habitually tensed and tightened areas such as stiffness in the neck, low back, and shoulders.

-Hot stone massage is appropriate for people with poor circulation or who often feel cold, as well as for those who have muscle tension but prefer a lighter massage. The stones are to be continuously moved, never laid still while directly on the skin. The warmth relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist to work the muscles without using deep pressure. It can also be helpful for various ailments such as back pain, arthritis pain, stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, and more.
