Typically yes, massage has been shown to help with headaches and migraines if the source is tension in surrounding muscles. Most people even hold much tension in their facial muscles that can be a source for headaches. Massage isn't a cure all, but may be helpful for something as this. Can take several sessions when the condition is chronic.

Absolutely! As long as the headaches are muscle/tension related. If you have chronic headaches, you should be seen by a physician to determine whether there is something more serious going on. Once you have ruled out internal problems, a good therapist can usually help. Chiropractic care may also be appropriate if you have had injuries in your past, such as an auto accident, or a sports injury. A simple adjustment can make a world of difference. Massage therapy is an excellent adjunct to chiropractic care as well.
