Drinking water isn't just about the massage, it's about daily hydration and the needs of our body. Depending on your physical activity of the day you should aim for two-three liters per day. Having a water bottle that's measurable to a liter is always very helpful, then all you have to do is count how many times you fill it and drink it down. After a massage, depending on the time of day it's always helpful to get in anywhere from 8-12oz. if you're having your massage in the late afternoon/evening. If you're having your massage in the morning, I would recommend having at least 8oz prior to and then drink more water throughout the day. Everyone's body is different and water needs are based on everything from activity level, how much water you drank the day before, to how much sleep you got the night before. Drink before you're thirsty, sip on a regular basis and before you know it, you've taken it all in.  I hope this helps.
