I suffer from frequent migraines. My friend mentioned that massage can help reduce how often I get headaches. Is this true?

Dear migraine sufferer,

yes, massage is very helpful in reducing the number of migraine episodes. Trigger point therapy is a valuable modality.

Additionally, there are numerous clinical studies documenting the important  role of magnesium and group B vitamins (B1 and B6 especially) supplementation.  When taken, these supplements may reduce the frequency  of migraines by 50%!  Hope this information is of help to you!
