How do I stop my wooden massage table from squeaking? I have tried tightening the screws, even greasing ( as per instructions from Lowes's- bad idea) and nothing helps. Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Once you have greased it, I don't know if this will work. You may want to try and remove the grease as much as you can first.

1) you can try WD40 instead of grease, it contains fishoil and graphite and may work better than grease.  (or)

2) You can try sprinking baby powder into the joints. This offers a bit of dry lubrication. (again remove any grease or oil you may have used, otherwise it will cake up) - (or)

3)Another thing to try if the joints seem loose, is to take out the screws and add a flat washer to create a bit of tightness. Metal washers are easay to find in hardware stores, but if you can find plastic or rubber ones that might be better and cause less wear and tear on the joints.

The wood where the screws are at has strech out from the screws being loose and retighten. you can remove the screws out of the hole one at a time drive a kitchen match into the hole (make sure has already be light and put out) break it off even with the serface and run the screw back in. This will tighten up the hole tell it hapens again. the best way to fix it is to drill a hole alway through the board and run a machine screw with washers and nut on the other side. Make sure you do not drill throught the pad or anything else that might be in the way. This happens alot on the lighter tables. Lubing the table is only getting rid of the noise not the problem of a table that has lose parts that could fail and hurt someone.

Mine squeaked and a cable screw needed tightening.   Easy fix if that is what is causing your squeaking.
