Tuberculosis
Description:
Tuberculosis is a highly contagious bacterial infection that usually begins in the lungs. It can spread to other places in the body, such as lymph nodes, kidneys and bones. There may be no initial symptoms, but as an active disease the symptoms include blood in sputum, coughing, fatigue, weight loss and night sweats.
Precautions:
Because of its highly contagious nature massage is contraindicated until the client has medical clearance.
