Urinary Tract Infection
Description:
A urinary tract infection is usually caused by bacteria from the digestive tract. Symptoms include pain and burning during urination, blood in the urine and increased frequency of urination. In an acute stage there may be fever and general malaise.
Precautions:
Any acute infection is a contraindication for massage. In a sub-acute stage, massage may be administered, but avoid any deep abdominal work.
