Trauma Touch Therapy
Definition:
Trauma Touch Therapy was developed by the Colorado School of Healing Arts and is used to address the needs of clients affected by trauma and abuse, including sexual and emotional abuse, battering and the trauma of war, criminal violence or surgery. It combines the use of psychotherapeutic elements with touch therapy, movement and breathwork to relearn touch from a physical and mental health perspective. The pace of the therapy is determined by the client's needs.
