Zen Shiatsu
Definition:
Zen Shiatsu was developed by Shizuto Masunaga. It differs from earlier forms of shiatsu in that the practitioner uses his or her fists, elbows and knees to apply pressure along energy meridians, in addition to palms and thumbs. In Zen Shiatsu the practitioner generally uses one hand to provide pressure while the other hand provides support to the client.
