Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS)


Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a demyelinating disorder of the peripheral nerves which usually begins in the feet and moves upward. There is usually a sudden onset of symptoms which peak in about two weeks followed by a gradual remission.


During the remission stages of GBS massage, along with physical therapy, may help to reduce atrophy of muscles and increase circulation
