Description:

Insomnia is the inability to get to sleep or to stay asleep for an extended period of time.

Precautions:

Most forms of massage can help with insomnia, but the client should be checked by a physician for possible causes. Caution needs to be taken in treating a client who regularly takes sleep inducing medication as massage can increase or decrease the drug's efficacy
