The Massage Source

At A New You Massage and Bodywork, my goal is to assist you in feeling better on the inside so you can feel your best on the outside. Tight, inflexible muscles and joints play a big part on how we feel throughout the day - from when we wake up in the morning to when we lie down to fall asleep at night. It is my goal to help you relax and return to a state of balance so that you can move about your day more freely, and sleep more soundly. Massage techniques used in our sessions include relaxation effleurage strokes, kneading, compression and tapotement, myofascial stretching and release, trigger point therapy. Before each of our massage/body work sessions, we will sit down briefly to discuss your goals for that session. Our goal setting will be followed by either a general relaxation massage or an integrated therapeutic massage/bodywork session targeting specific areas that are bothering you. COMING SOON, in September/October, I will be offering Lypossage. This is a results oriented massage/bodywork modality to help contour your body and decrease the appearance of cellulite. Areas that are targeted through Lypossage are the thighs, glutes, abdomen (zone 1), arms (zone 2), neck, and face (zone 3).
