Trager Approach
Definition:
The Trager Approach was developed in the 1920s. It consists of deep but non-intrusive hands-on work, including gentle rhythmic touch and movements, which are used to produce positive sensory feelings that are fed back into the central nervous system. The client is also given a set of mental exercises and movement sequences to enhance the work done by the practitioner.
