Joanna Volkoff is the owner and licensed massage therapist at Summit Springs Therapies, llc. She has been practicing massage and bodywork since 2001. Having studied a wide range of modalities, she tailors the treatment to meet the clients needs. She works with balancing structural alignment, decreasing myofascial pain, and improving range of motion. She assists clients in recovery from injuries (motor vehicle and sports related) and helps to improve overall well-being. Depending on the clients needs, she utilizes a variety of techniques, such as cupping, trigger point therapy or myofascial work. She also works with surgical and injury recovery to decrease scar tissue, inflammation and pain and increase mobility. In 2018, she became certified by Klose Training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT). In addition to her bodywork education, she holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Oregon State University. She also is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) and has worked with treating patients recovering from head trauma and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
