Definition:

Comfort/Caring Touch is a collection of gentle massage techniques designed for use on older adults and people with disabilities as well as those in need of palliative care. The client is often bedridden or may be confined to a wheelchair. The primary intention is to promote deep relaxation and relief from the pain or discomfort of aging or dying, but can be used on anyone in need of caring touch.
